Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the DUTRIEUX ozone washer clean fruits and vegetables?
A: The device dissolves ozone into water, which interacts with the surface of produce to help break down and remove residues such as wax coatings, agricultural surface deposits, and other impurities. Simply place your fruits or vegetables in a basin of water, submerge the ozone output tube, and let the timer run its cycle for noticeably fresher-feeling produce.
Q: Is this ozone washer safe to use at home?
A: Yes. The DUTRIEUX FL-C08A is designed for safe household use. It operates at a low 12W and produces ozone only while active. Always use it in a well-ventilated area and follow the included instructions. The unit automatically stops when the timer cycle ends, ensuring controlled, worry-free operation.
Q: Can I use this device outside the kitchen?
A: Absolutely. Its portable design and wide voltage compatibility (100–240V) make it suitable for a variety of settings including the car, RV, hotel room, garage, and even outdoor use. It can also function as an anion air purifier in smaller enclosed spaces.
Q: What is included in the 1-year warranty?
A: The warranty covers return and replacement, free spare parts, and access to overseas customer support call centres, giving you peace of mind with your purchase for a full year after delivery.
