Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What hook size should I use with the B&U Swing Impact FAT soft lure?

A: For the 55mm size, a 1/0 to 2/0 jig head or offset hook works best. For the 70mm size, we recommend a 3/0 to 4/0 hook to match the larger body profile and ensure a solid hook-up on strikes. Both sizes are compatible with Texas, Carolina, and drop-shot rigs.

Q: Are these soft lures suitable for saltwater fishing?

A: Yes! The B&U Swing Impact FAT is made from durable, salt-resistant silicone, making it suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments including ocean beach, ocean rock, and ocean boat fishing.

Q: What species can I target with the Swing Impact FAT paddle tail lure?

A: This lure is highly versatile. While it's optimized for bass, its realistic paddle tail action and lifelike profile also attract pike, perch, walleye, zander, trout, and other predatory species across a wide range of water bodies.

Q: What is the difference between the 55mm and 70mm versions?

A: The 55mm version is ideal for lighter presentations, finesse fishing, and smaller target species. The 70mm version offers a larger baitfish profile, making it better suited for targeting bigger predators in open water, deeper lakes, or heavier cover.
