Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does the touchless automatic soap dispenser work?

A: The DUTRIEUX automatic soap dispenser uses a built-in infrared sensor to detect your hand when placed beneath the nozzle. It instantly dispenses a measured amount of foam soap — completely hands-free, reducing cross-contamination and keeping your sink area clean and hygienic.

Q: What type of soap can I use in this foam dispenser?

A: This dispenser is designed for liquid foaming hand soap and liquid dish soap. For best foam performance, use a foaming soap formulation or dilute regular liquid soap (typically 1 part soap to 3–4 parts water) before filling.

Q: How do I charge the automatic soap dispenser?

A: The dispenser features a built-in rechargeable battery that charges via a standard USB cable. Simply connect the USB cable to the dispenser and plug into any USB power source. This eliminates the need for disposable batteries, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendlier choice.

Q: Is the wall-mounted soap dispenser easy to install?

A: Yes! The wall-mount bracket is designed for straightforward installation. The unit comes with all necessary mounting hardware. Once fixed to the wall, the dispenser body clips securely into place and can be easily removed for refilling or cleaning.

Q: How long does the battery last between charges?

A: Battery life depends on frequency of use. Under typical household conditions, a full charge provides weeks of use before recharging is needed. The low-battery indicator will alert you when it's time to recharge via USB.
