Note: No Ring Doorbell unit, no Ring Doorbell Pro device, and no tools are included. A small Phillips head screwdriver and a plastic spudger or knife are required for installation (not supplied).
Installation Guide
- Remove the four screws from the back of the main housing.
- Remove the four screws to the main board (two black, two silver).
- Carefully detach the three connectors (two white and one black). Do not remove any other connectors as they are small and easy to damage.
- Tilt the main circuit board forward to reveal the back of the push button.
- Unscrew the screw that holds the centre of the button — the button will drop out from the front.
- Gently pry off the old button cover and line up the new silicone cover to the button mount.
- Work carefully — the button is still attached to a circuit ribbon, so avoid tugging it.
- Once aligned, refit the button (don't forget the spring) and reassemble the unit.
