This size is purpose-built for long-distance saltwater casting, giving you the weight needed to punch into the wind while still maintaining a natural minnow profile in the water.

Q: Is this lure suitable for both saltwater and freshwater fishing?

A: Absolutely. While the B&U 3D M100S is specifically designed and finished for saltwater use (including corrosion-resistant BKK hooks), it performs just as well in freshwater environments such as lakes, rivers, and reservoirs, making it a highly versatile jerkbait lure for targeting bass and other predatory species.

Q: What type of retrieve works best with a sinking minnow jerkbait?

A: A jerk-pause-jerk retrieve is the most effective technique. Cast the lure out, allow it to sink to your target depth, then use sharp rod twitches separated by a brief pause. This mimics a wounded or fleeing baitfish and is highly effective for triggering strikes from bass and mackerel.

Q: Are the BKK hooks already attached to the lure?

A: Yes — the B&U M100S comes pre-rigged with BKK treble hooks attached and ready to fish straight from the packaging.
