Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What fish species are these B&U soft bait lures best suited for?
A: These B&U floating soft baits are highly effective for bass and carp, but their realistic worm, craw, and shrimp profiles also attract a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater game fish including pike, perch, and snapper depending on your location and rigging style.
Q: What rigs work best with these floating soft baits?
A: The ELASTOMAX 08 floating soft baits are extremely versatile. They work excellently on Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, drop-shot rigs, wacky rigs, and paired with jig heads or wobbler setups. Their buoyancy makes them especially effective for weedless presentations in heavy cover.
Q: How does the salt infusion benefit my fishing?
A: The salt embedded in the silicone releases a natural scent trail in the water that attracts nearby fish. It also causes fish to hold onto the bait longer after striking, giving you more time to react and set the hook successfully.
Q: Can these lures be used in both freshwater and saltwater environments?
A: Yes! These soft baits are designed for use across lakes, rivers, reservoirs, ponds, streams, ocean beaches, ocean rock, and ocean boat fishing — making them a genuinely all-around lure for any angler.
